Our Rahayu cushion cover is hand-woven by experienced weavers on traditional looms from the finest natural cotton. The natural colour of the material is preserved and comes into its own even better thanks to the subtle striped pattern.

With its puristic yet appealing appearance, the cushion blends seamlessly into your living style and creates a soft and modern atmosphere. Rahayu can also be beautifully combined with other patterned cushion covers, such as our Seraja and Flores, to add an extra touch of sophistication to your living space.

The cushion cover is available in two sizes, 40x40 and 50x50 cm, and features a practical hotel closure on the back for easy insertion and removal of the cushion. To preserve the quality of the pillowcase, we recommend a gentle hand wash in cold water. Bleaching and direct drying in the sun should also be avoided.

Material: Cotton

Our pillow cases are made from plant fibres. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

We use cotton from local farmers on Java for our products. The cotton fields are naturally fertilized and the cotton bolls are picked by hand. The cotton is then separated from the capsule in a ginning machine. The cotton obtained is pressed into bales, combed and spun into yarn by hand. After the yarn has been spun in this way, it is processed by hand by the craftsmen on traditional wooden looms. Cotton is characteristic for its absorbency and skin friendliness. Our cotton is not chemically processed and is therefore not suitable for the tumble dryer. The products should be ironed at low temperatures.

This pillow case is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we purchase our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
